All of our LED lighting products are rated to have a 50,000+ hour lifespan. During this lifecycle, for a typical lighting condition, 50 regular incandescent bulb or 5 compact florescent bulb replacements need to be made!
Efficiency
Our most powerful replacement LED light bulbs use only 13 watts of electricity, yet performing on par with a 60 watt incandescent bulb! Traditional incandescent bulbs waste 98% of their energy producing wasted heat. LED light bulbs on the other hand produce very little heat in order to maintain brilliant light.
Costs to operate traditional incandescent bulbs do not make sense:
One - 60 Watt bulb costs approximately $26 dollars to run per year at 12 hours per day. But don't forget that since an incandescent bulb only lasts 1000 hours, chances are you would have bought at least 4 replacement bulbs over the course of the year, bringing your total cost for just one light fixture to $30. The costs and time wasted considerably adds to the above figure!
Compare this to...
One - 10 Watt LED light bulb costs approximately $4.30 to run per year at 12 hours per day. Since it was on for approximately 4000 hours it still has at least 10 years of remaining life! Even throughout its entire 11 year life a LED light bulb will cost approximately $120 while a traditional fixture using an incandescent bulb will cost significantly above $330!
As you can see, replacing the majority of the lighting with LED light bulbs can really add up in terms of money and energy saved!
Durability
LED light bulbs do not have a filament or tube to break making them very durable. They also are typically made from plastic therefore if you happen to drop or mishandle a LED bulb, you will not be left with a mess of broken glass.
Environmentally Friendly
LED light bulbs are the most environmentally friendly light source other than pure sunlight. LED bulbs do not utilize any hazardous substances. All of our products are RoHS compliant (a strict new standard reducing hazardous substances). Therefore, unlike Compact Florescent Bulbs or CFL, LED light bulbs contain no mercury. This makes LED light bulbs the safest lighting available!
LED light bulbs are also part of the solution to the energy crisis the world is facing. LED light bulbs use less power up front and generate less heat. Replacing all lighting with LED lighting will suddenly reduce your electrical usage which can help save money and also reduce CO2 emissions from power plants.
Finally, with the long life achieved from LED light bulbs, considerable savings on the disposal of approximately 50 incandescent bulbs or 5 mercury filled compact fluorescent bulbs is achieved. Not only does this clean up our landfills, it also saves resources by producing fewer light bulbs.
True Light
LED light bulbs are available in white and warm light color tones. Warm White will give you a similar color tone as an incandescent bulb. White (also known as pure white) will give you a true pure white color tone without any tinting. No matter what color is chosen, the annoying flickering and headaches caused by compact fluorescent bulbs are completely eliminated.
